Class DojoClass Dojo connects teachers with students and parents to build amazing classroom communities. Teachers can encourage students for any skill or value - whether it's working hard, being kind, helping others, or something else. Students can showcase and share their learning by adding photos and videos to their own portfolios. Get parents engaged by sharing photos and videos of wonderful classroom moments.
This website was extremely helpful during Covid when I had some students on distance learning. They could upload all of their assignments on Class Dojo and it was a great communication tool with parents. It is also a great way for me to share photos and videos of school activities with parents since they are still not allowed on campus this year. |
Kids A-ZKids A-Z is a kid-friendly learning portal where students go to access all their eLearning materials in an interactive online environment. In addition, the website also provides an easy-to-navigate hub that teachers use to manage their students, create custom assignments, and track individual and class-wide progress.
I started using Kids A-Z this year because I have quite a few students who came in low in their reading levels. I use it mainly for Reading A-Z to help my struggling readers get caught up. It has been instrumental in my reading curriculum this year and has helped so many of my students improve their reading skills! |
IXLIXL is the world's most popular subscription-based learning site for K-12. It is used by over 13 million students and provides personalized learning. With a comprehensive K-12 curriculum, individualized guidance, and realtime analytics, IXL meets the unique needs of each learner.
I use IXL for the diagnostic as well as for student practice in areas of need. It has affected the way I teach because I'm able to identify specific topics to teach, group students accordingly, and provide differentiated practice for each student in my class. I can also input their assessment data from the MAP testing website so that all the students are at their individual levels. We mostly use it for math but it can be used for other subjects as well. |
