Example of Student SuccessThis year, I have worked hard to get my students talking about what they're learning. We did a few fun group activities for my last 2 inquiries where the students got together in groups and talked about what they were learning and the process they were using to solve a word problem in math. We did this activity twice so I could see the students' growth and progress. They did so well the 2nd time around and had so much fun, they were asking to do it again the next day! They were talking with each other, taking turns, and using math vocabulary that we had learned in class. I was so proud to see them working together as teams and talking about their learning! This is definitely an activity that I will be using more throughout my teaching and even expanding into different subject areas.
